8.5 months- so so close!

This was the week for doctor's appointments! Monday was my version at the hospital to turn baby girl head down (she's been breach for over a month now)- it worked! Wednesday was my (hopefully) last specialist appointment for my gestational diabetes- blood sugar is still diet controlled and baby girl is 6 lbs, 13 oz (40 percentile). Today was my regular weekly appointment with my OBGYN- no signs/symptoms of pre-eclampisa! I'm 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced, so the doctor is anticipating baby will come before my next appointment with her next Thursday- hooray! Just doing the waiting game here- so excited!

How far along? 38 weeks! We're almost there!

Baby's size?
She's 6 lbs, 13 oz, 40 percentile, which is super good for having gestational diabetes!

Maternity clothes? All the time! Some shirts are beginning to be too small though... :o)

Sleep: So hard to get out of bed for bathroom runs at night! And to turn over! And some nights I have trouble falling asleep. But I try to enjoy these sleep difficulties before I have a little lady keeping me up at night :o)

Best moment(s) this past month: Getting stuff done! Who knew that checking off items off your crazy nesting to-do list would feel so satisfying! Also, I really enjoyed the last couple weeks of work teaching at University of Texas- yay for a happy ending!

Miss Anything? Not hurting while I walk- that is the pits!

Movement: Yep! She moves differently these days, especially since we had her turned on Monday (via a version at the hospital- ouch!), so she's now head down.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really- sometimes eating too much fatty food hurts my gall bladder, but that's from before pregnancy.
Cravings: Not really. My sugar cravings really have calmed down since I've had to cut back so much with the gestational diabetes- a blessing though it's been hard at times.

Labor Signs: Yep! Every night I have 2-3 good ones (30+ seconds long) before I fall asleep. Yay for getting ready to have a baby!
Gender: Girl! Still working on cutting down our name list :o)

Symptoms: Pain when I walk, fatigue (naps everyday!), feeling large.
Belly Button in or out? It's mostly flat, but sometimes it pops out!

Wedding rings on or off? On! And my hands haven't really swollen at all, so that's good for the pre-eclampsia watch I have going on.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most of the time, but I cried yesterday and today due to being in pain. I slipped on one of Simon's toys last night, didn't fall, but catching myself caused my body to stretch more that it can these days, so I've been pretty owie.

Looking forward to: The baby coming! Even with not sleeping once she's here (and major body recovery, no matter how she ends up coming), it has to be better than how uncomfortable I feel these days! Bring it!

I am Willem Jacobus an i live in Johannesburg.I wanted a loan badly to start a business of my own because I realize working for other people makes the owner of the business richer, I came across a post on a site were i can get a loan without any collateral or credit card. To cut the long story short i applied for the loan and the company was able to give me a loan of R10million to start my business and now my business is growing well and have been able to pay half of the loan within the space of 2 years. My friends i decided to share this testimony with everyone if you want any type of loan please contact Mike Morris Finance Group at Mikemorrisfinancegroup@financier.com, am very positive he will be willing to help.
